According to Nigerian Army Twitter post, 157 Battalion over powered the Terrorist group as they attempted to attach the military base on 8th day of October. Unfortunately the Nigeria Army according the the report lost seven (7) soldiers while 16 others sustained injury.
The chief of Army Staff Lt. Gen Buratai have commiserated with the families of the deceased and directed that the wounded be given adequate medical treatment.
